At Alyeska Resort in beautiful Girdwood AK, you can learn to Rock Climb at Tram Rock! This creek side crag is nestled deep in the forest right under the Tram cables. Our 3 hour "top-roped" climbing experience is just a 10 minute hike from The Alyeska Prince Hotel. No experience is necessary to join us and all gear is provided.
Though there are intermediate and advanced routes available, this environment is perfect for beginners and fun for the whole family! Please bring a signed waiver (below) sturdy footwear, water, a snack, your camera and appropriate clothing.

Guests will be required to fill out a Climbing Application and sign our waiver
Trip minimums and maximums will be set at 2 and 10, respectively

For those who wish to have a one on one or less structured learning environment, we offer all day private instruction. All aspects of climbing are open to exploration. Examples include: anchor building, lead climbing, natural protection placement, technique, mixed climbing, aid climbing and even Meditation. You set the pace.

We Guide and Teach to the standards of the American Mountain Guides Association.

Ethics: All Ascending Path Guides personally practice and teach "Leave No Trace" (LNT) principles. All garbage from snacks etc will be packed out. We strive to approach zero environmental impact. We support the Access Fund on conservation projects, land acquisitions and climbing policy.

Accessibility: Our Services are offered to guests of all ages ranging from 2 to 90. Climbing is rigorous in nature; therefore, participants must fill out the Climbing Application and Waiver so that they may better understand the nature of the activity they will be participating in.
